So my new tasks at hand is moving from managing resources, to managing managers. For me moving further from hands on is not easy. I like being involved and knowing everything going on with projects I am responsible for. Today I am managing things at a “high level” and putting my faith in others. The goal is to leverage others and make sure I have the right people in place. What I am slowly finding out is that I need to levergage others a lot more. There are times where people will need a hand, but not always. It has been an odd transition and something I haven’t figured out fully. I will post more as I learn.
