I am reading this book now and liking the writing style. Here is one of the more gangsta quotes about China.

‘America is great because guns make everybody equal. Freedom in China is a pocketful of money,’ he said, showing me a six-inch-thick wad of 50-yuan notes. ‘In China, you either have money or you have to be obedient.’

I will be posting a bit more from the book about arbitrage and other hustles the locals have and have had during the rise.

Calabasas

This crib appears to have it all. When you are Eddie Murphy’s ex-wife, I guess you can do that. Here are some of the more important pics from luxist. The view, garage and pool areas are dope.

I am always surprised to see the amount of money spent on top of money. I saw this kit today and it always gives me motivation to see that the game isn’t stopping and that keeping things moving is the only way to get there. While doing nothing is easy, doing big things is not easy.

Buy Vs Sell

I was in a conversation with a sales guy recently. He was telling me about a strategy that made sense to me. Basically he does not like to sell people. He likes to have people want to buy. Being that I am generally on the buying end, I understand. I like buying things, but hate being sold. People generally like to buy, it makes them happy. They don’t like to be sold on things though. What are your thoughts on that?

Keep that in mind. What people know of you is their reality of you. Also keep in mind that only what you know of others is your reality. Not only can you give off a great perception, but others might pull the same card.
