I read quite a few magazines each month.  I read a bit for educational purposes, and a lot for motivational purposes.  Many of the magazines I read for educational purposes are online.  I read a bit of the economist and BusinessWeek.   The are great magazines for educating people.  I am sure there are mad amounts of magazines out there that I could get smarter by reading.

However for me, those types of magazines do not make me money.  The do not generally motivate me either.  They just get me where I can talk with certain groups.  To get into the grind and hustle mode I check out a different variety of magazines.  I enjoy reading Rides magazine to get me into the mood to make money.  It gets ideas flowing on what I can do once I get the money.  It also gives me suggestions on how to impress with whips.  How else would I know what the Hummer HX was?

I also read a bit of Architectural Digest.  This is a good magazine to get ideas flowing to me about what is possible with houses.  I enjoy seeing what houses can look like.  I then try to apply them on my scale.  This magazine was hot before MTV Cribs came out.  How would I know about infinity pools that waterfall?

I also read Mens Journal.  This magazine is the best “Mens” magazine I have seen.  It covers topics from sports, travel, fitness to adventure.  It generally displays activities I want to do now and when I retire.  It is all about getting the most you can out of life.  How would I know about where to hear trance and house music in Thailand?

I also read Maxim.  I do not like the magazine itself.  I think it does a horrible job of entertaining and a horrible job with content.  I use it more as a reference to new things that are coming out.  I can sit down with it and circle things I will google later on.  I felt it was going to improve when Robert Greene started doing his piece, but I have not seen his bits in a while (he is of course the author of the 48 laws of power, 33 strategies of war, etc…).

I get these magazines at a decent price from Magazine City.  What magazines do you read?

My impression was that they had to go into more water, like into the ocean or a lake. So seeing this is amazing. I had never thought it would look as good not over water. Another thing that is amazing is that it could be a waterfall into a bigger pool on the lower level.

The infiniti-esk pool at the Palms Sky Villa could be a bit better. It is impressive though for where it is (google it for images).
